Welcome to the Zone 13 (Nassau County) web page.  As your Zone Rep it is my responsibility to oversee all NYSSMA activities in the Zone, and also to represent the needs and concerns of our Zone to the Executive Council. Teachers, please make sure your membership is up to date and please consider attending the adjudicator orientations to support the evaluation process. Thank you to the directors and teachers for the collective success of our festivals and providing the best adjudication process anywhere.

Teacher Information:

To find information on Nassau County festivals or which area a particular school is part of, please look at the files below or go to the NMEA (Nassau Music Educators Association) web site. You can do this by clicking on the link above.

Parent Information:

Parents with NYSSMA questions or concerns should contact their child’s school music teacher and/or music administrator prior to contacting me. I have found that, in most cases, situations can be resolved within the school districts more quickly and effectively. If you are unsuccessful resolving your issue or finding solutions to questions, please e-mail to mezone13@nyssma.org
