The Syosset Central School District has an anticipated vacancy for a Long-term Music Substitute (Leave Replacement) beginning January 2025.
Requirements
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- New York State certification in Music (K-12) required
- Prior successful K-5 Classroom Music teaching experience
- Knowledge of various pedagogies, including Kodaly, Dalcroze and Orff
- Knowledge of K-5 Choral literature and appropriate vocal technique
- Ability to collaborate with a highly respected faculty and staff
