Strings Teacher

Description

The Music Academy Foundation is looking for instructors to teach private lessons to students at our Garden City studio on Long Island. We are a not-for-profit music school looking for excellent teachers to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate will be able to teach violin, viola, and cello for beginners to advanced.

Requirements

All applicants must:
- Be friendly, positive, and enjoy working with kids of all ages
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in music (Master’s preferred)
- Have experience working with kids in a one-on-one setting
- Have experience with NYSSMA preparation
- Be comfortable teaching violin, viola and cello (bass a plus)
Our ideal candidate will be able to teach all strings at various levels.
