Description
The Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs is seeking a part-time hourly Strings Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Certification in Waldorf teaching is preferred but not required. The responsibilities include teaching six classes each week for three levels of violin and possibly beginning orchestra to Grades 3-8. This would include preparing the students to present a musical piece at the winter and spring assemblies. The Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs was founded in 1981 and currently serves 135 children from preschool through Grade 8. We are full members of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America and are accredited by the New York State Association of Independent Schools. Our eclectic downtown campus is spread over three historic buildings, two of which are within walking distance of each other in the city of Saratoga Springs, NY.
Requirements
Violin teaching experience required, other strings or instrument experience preferred.
