IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR NEW YORK STATE STUDENT APPLICANTS TO THE 2010 MENC NATIONAL HONORS ENSEMBLES

In order to align the selection process for THE 2010 MENC National Honors Ensembles with the procedures our association uses to select students for NYSSMA All-State ensembles, the New York State School Music Association will implement the following additional requirements:

1.     New York State student applicants must have been selected for and participated in one of the 2009 NYSSMA Winter Conference All-State performance ensembles or have been selected as an alternate for one of those ensembles.

2.     Applicants must be in eleventh grade during the 2009-2010 school year.
