Technology in Music Education Committee
The NYSSMA Technology in Music Education Committee comprises music educators who have used technology in various ways in their teaching and wish to support and encourage other members of our profession in the practical applications of technology in educational settings. This support includes:- planning technology sessions at the Summer and Winter Conferences
- supporting the Electronic Composition Showcase for Winter Conference
- presenting technology mini-conferences and workshops
- providing resources and answering technology-based questions for music educators.
Current members of this committee include: Andrew Buscemi, Rachel Curtin, Herbert A. Deutsch, Sue Gamet, Andrew Giammalvo, Jonathan Hunkins, Scott LaVine, Debra A. Lewis, Dr. W. Stephen Mayo, Don Muro, Terry Nigrelli-Chair, Joshua Stamp.
